BikeBOX bike storage – case study

An Austrian hotel located in a region popular among cyclists is experiencing an increase in guests who own e-bikes. The challenge presented to us was to provide a space where guests could safely store and charge their bikes. The hotel’s requirements were that the bike storage should be weather-resistant, harmonize with the surroundings, and offer easy access for guests to their bikes.

Dukin d.o.o., in collaboration with our Austrian sales partner Humer Müllboxen, introduced the hotel to StyleOUT BikeBOX bike storage units. BikeBOX units are modular bike storage solutions designed for urban environments and made from durable aluminum. We delivered 10 BikeBOX units to the hotel, which were then installed side by side.

• Design and construction: The BikeBOX bike storage is made from high-quality aluminum, ensuring durability and resistance to weather conditions. Its sleek design complements the hotel’s exterior appearance.
• Security features: Each storage unit is equipped with a cylindrical lock that enhances the security of the guests’ bikes. The special design of the lift-up doors allows for easy access, while adjustable feet ensure stability on uneven surfaces.
• Capacity and dimensions: BikeBOX can accommodate up to 2 bicycles or 1 small motorcycle. The dimensions with closed doors are 127 x 229 x 147 cm (W x D x H), and the internal dimensions are 100 x 222 (max) x 140 cm (W x D x H).
• Convenience: Each unit is equipped with electrical outlets, allowing guests to easily charge their e-bikes.

Due to the modular nature of BikeBOX, the installation process was straightforward and quick. By placing ten units side by side, we created a unified and organized storage area for the bikes. Each unit was assigned a unique key, allowing guests secure and independent access to their unit.

This case study aims to demonstrate how innovative products like the StyleOUT BikeBOX can address specific challenges in the hospitality industry. By providing a secure, convenient, and stylish storage solution, the hotel has met the needs of its guests and established a reputation as a cyclist-friendly destination.
